Product description
Room area: Up to 30 m² Purpose: Air and surfaces Fans: 2 pcs Removable top cover: Yes Lamp: 2×15 W 9000 hours UV power 254 nm: 9.6 W The effectiveness of air disinfection in enclosed spaces depends on the speed of air masses passing through the ultraviolet radiation zone. The BactoSfera EKRAN Jalousie 15×2 FAN model solves this task by means of active circulation created by built-in fans. The device is designed for operation in rooms up to 30 m² and allows disinfection without the need to leave the room. The main feature of the modification is the presence of two types of lamps. The upper circuit is hidden behind protective blinds that direct the rays parallel to the ceiling. The lower circuit is represented by an open lamp that is activated for surface treatment. If the basic shielded irradiator with blinds BactoSfera Jalousie Air 15 handles tasks well under natural convection conditions, the FAN version with forced ventilation is indispensable in places with stagnant air or high density of people. Technological advantages of the design The device is designed to maximize the use of the bactericidal flow resource. The device operation is based on the following engineering solutions: Fans accelerate the process of air passing along the lamp, increasing the air exchange rate. Special coating of the blinds absorbs parasitic ultraviolet reflections. Ozone-free lamps with a peak emission of 254 nm exclude the appearance of a specific odor and harmful gas concentrations. The removable top cover allows adjusting the coverage of the irradiation zone depending on the ceiling height. Such a configuration allows the device to be operated throughout the working day, maintaining environmental sterility in real time. Program module modes The irradiator is controlled via an electronic unit that responds to the number of switch presses. This eliminates the need to install complex external controllers and allows the use of the room's standard wiring. Operating mode Activation method System operation description Mode 1 Normal switch on Only the upper shielded lamp and fans operate. Mode 2 Double press Start of the upper lamp and temporary (30 min) operation of the lower open lamp. Mode 3 Triple press Continuous simultaneous operation of both lamps and the ventilation system. When the second mode is selected, an audible indication is triggered, warning of the need to leave the room before turning on the open radiation source. This is a reliable health protection mechanism for staff and visitors. Operating and installation rules To achieve the declared efficiency, it is important to follow the installation regulations. Incorrect placement may lead to a decrease in bactericidal dose or direct beam exposure to the eyes. Main installation requirements: The installation height must be at least 2.2 meters from the floor level. The housing is fixed strictly at a 90-degree angle to the vertical wall surface. There must be no obstacles blocking the airflow within the lamp's range. The lower open lamp is used only when there are no people or animals in the room. Compliance with these simple conditions allows neutralizing most known pathogens, including influenza viruses, staphylococci, and mold fungi. The irradiator becomes an effective barrier to the spread of infections in offices, medical institutions, and classrooms. WARNING! The irradiator must be installed on a plane perpendicular to the floor (wall) at a height of 2.2 meters or more from the floor. The lower plane of the irradiator housing must be at a 90° angle to the wall, i.e., perpendicular to it and accordingly parallel to the floor (it is recommended to check this, for example, with a carpenter's square). It is forbidden to perform work in the upper part of the room while the irradiator is operating; if a person needs to cross the radiation line, turn off the irradiator. * Be sure to read the product manual before use.
