Thermometer usage rules: The IR thermometer must be in the same room with the person for at least 30 minutes before use to equalize temperatures. Before and after the procedure, be sure to check that the device sensor is clean. It can be cleaned with a cotton swab moistened with medical alcohol. Clean the area where the measurement will be taken, removing hair and sweat before positioning the sensor for measurement. Always measure temperature in the same spot, as results may vary under different conditions.
