Reliable orthopedic support for hip dysplasia in infants Orthosis OP1170 Pavlik harness is designed for conservative treatment of dysplasia, subluxation, or dislocation of the hip joint in children up to 2 years old. Its design ensures the correct position of the femoral head in the acetabulum, promoting healthy joint development. Features: soft neoprene inserts on shoulder straps – reduce pressure in the shoulder area; velour straps with precise length adjustment; easy donning thanks to plastic buckles and Velcro fasteners; built-in booties with securing socks – prevent accidental removal of the leg by the child or self-release of the foot; strap markings facilitate correct symmetrical placement of the product; additional soft pads on straps to protect against chafing; abduction strap for adjusting hip separation (as prescribed by a doctor). Effect: holds the femoral head in the correct position relative to the acetabulum; promotes proper development of hip joints, strengthening muscles and ligaments; provides a stable yet safe position of the child's hips. Indications for use: hip dysplasia; congenital subluxation or dislocation of the femoral head; hip joint instability in the first months of life; adjunct method in orthopedic or surgical treatment. Since children's development is individual, use chest circumference as a guide rather than age alone. Care: hand wash with mild baby soap at temperatures up to 30 °C; close all Velcro fasteners beforehand; air dry at room temperature, do not use iron, dryer, or direct sunlight; do not wear the product on bare skin – use a cotton bodysuit or light clothing; ensure diapers or clothing do not bunch in the groin area.
