Functional knee orthosis for osteoarthritis treatment Orliman OCR400 The comfortable and lightweight orthosis allows correction of morphological changes in the lower limb in osteoarthritis. Featuring a detachable design, it perfectly adapts to the thigh and shin, allowing easy fit adjustment and effective knee control. Correction of varus or valgus axial deformities in the OCR400 is achieved through 3 points of directed pressure (hinge and two straps). The main pressure is created by a metal insert with a polycentric hinge, positioned only on one side depending on the type of deformity. The insert has a special lock that allows pressure level adjustment. To regulate and limit the flexion/extension angle, the hinge has special wedges. Flexion – 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°; extension - 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°. Two crossed straps provide optimal unloading of the degenerative area. These straps have color coding to facilitate fastening. The design includes two plastic semi-rigid cuffs located inside soft material, not in direct contact with the skin, promoting proper function of the entire knee brace. The textile material is soft, comfortable, and breathable, providing moderate compression focused on the knee joint. Silicone inserts inside prevent brace displacement. Additionally, foam material in high-pressure zones helps avoid discomfort.
