Alps Extreme HD (locking/non-locking) is a prosthetic liner made from High Density Gel, providing a high level of comfort and excellent socket protection even for more active users. Recommended for patients with medium and high activity levels, as it offers a high level of prosthesis control while maintaining comfort. It is also recommended for patients with excess soft tissue on the socket and patients with above-knee amputation. The Alps Extreme™ prosthetic liner in the HD Gel version provides the patient with comfort and prosthesis control. HD Gel absorbs vertical and transverse loads on the socket; at the same time, it makes the liner more compact. Fabric with limited vertical elasticity also further restricts the vertical oscillation effect. This makes it an ideal liner for the most active users who require maximum prosthetic leg control without compromising comfort.
