Intended for use in specialized and non-specialized medical institutions. The transformer bed provides optimal conditions for: - stimulation, regeneration, or repair of skin on affected body areas regardless of location; - prevention of liquefactive necrosis development in the groin, axillary, and elbow regions by positioning and fixing the patient's limbs in abducted positions on special supports installed on the bed frame; - creating optimal conditions for air circulation around the patient's body while maintaining an optimal temperature regime. Design. Depending on current needs, the bed can be used in two different ways, namely: - as a standard two-section hospital bed for comfortable patient stay during treatment, under medical supervision, and long-term rehabilitation; - as a bed for treating patients with thermal injuries (burns) covering up to 70% of the body's skin surface. The torso section of the two-section bed is adjustable in tilt angle from 0 to 65° using stops with self-locking mechanisms that have six adjustment positions. The two-section hospital bed has metal stops that provide bed rigidity and prevent wire mesh sagging. The bed base is made of wire mesh with 50x50 mm openings, ensuring mattress ventilation. The bed is equipped with rubber bumpers that prevent damage to hospital ward walls during patient movement. The bed rails are quickly mounted/dismounted using threaded clamps. A mesh tension frame is installed on top of the two-section hospital bed, on which are fixed: - a special fabric container designed to collect combustiokapsules and dehydrated clots; - an air-permeable mesh. The special fabric container collects combustiokapsules and dehydrated clots and also functions to distribute warm airflow directed by the aerator into the space beneath the patient. The aerator provides smooth temperature regulation of the patient zone. The time to reach the working mode of the bed from aerator activation is no more than 20 minutes. The air-permeable mesh for treating patients with thermal skin injuries is stretched over the mesh tension frame (mesh holder). Additionally, holders for arms, a footrest, and an arch for attaching medical equipment, medication containers, and devices for lifting the patient's limbs are installed on the mesh tension frame. The arm holder is equipped with an air-permeable mesh and a mechanism for adjusting height and tilt angle in two planes, allowing placement of the patient's arms abducted at angles from 15⁰ to 90⁰ relative to the patient's body. The design of the arm holders and footrest allows them to be installed on the bed frame and adjusted in distance from each other depending on the patient's weight, height, and/or needs.
