Use of the device reduces treatment and recovery times for newborns with jaundice, decreases the incidence of diseases and complications associated with hyperbilirubinemia. The irradiator for treatment of neonatal jaundice OMEGA can be equipped with a Philips or Osram L Blue 18W/71 lamp.
