Orliman splint orthosis for fixation of the first finger of the hand The orthosis is made of elastic breathable material that provides optimal air circulation. A rigid splint is located on the medial surface of the first finger and can be modeled if necessary. Convenient straps with strong fasteners allow for precise adjustment of the orthosis compression. The splint fully immobilizes the finger and the first metacarpophalangeal joint. It is quite short and does not restrict movements in the radiocarpal joint. Selected by wrist size for left or right hand. FEATURES: rigid aluminum splint reliably fixes and can be modeled as needed; elastic breathable material creates excellent air circulation; the orthosis is quite short and does not restrict movements in the radiocarpal joint. EFFECT: unloading and movement restriction in the affected area; moderate compression and perfect fit to the body; fixation and stabilization of the first finger; acceleration of the regeneration process.
