Product description
Orliman AW01 – Heel Stabilizer (Wedge) for the Achilles Tendon. Orliman To restore the Achilles tendon using the Walker device (orthosis for ankle joint treatment), it is necessary to adjust the foot position in the orthosis so that plantar flexion is approximately 20°. To address this, Orliman developed the heel stabilizer – AW01. AW01 is a series of ergonomically designed lifts (wedges) that allow gradual reduction of the flexion angle from 22° to 0° with intervals of 22° / 16° / 10° / 0°. AW01 is a set of four lifts, each 2 cm high (total height 8 cm). The lifts are connected by an adhesive layer, allowing easy joining or separation of layers, thereby changing the flexion angle and using the same heel pad at different rehabilitation stages. AW01 secures the heel with sidewalls and has a removable top cover made of dense material. FEATURES: Used in the Walker orthosis. Ultra-soft materials that do not cause irritation or allergic reactions. Heel fixation in the correct position. Four lifts, each 2 cm high. Additional adhesive fastener included. Ability to gradually change the flexion angle from 22° to 0°. EFFECT: Heel fixation in the required position. Adjustment of flexion/extension range. Control of mediolateral and rotational instability. Allows increasing movement dynamics during rehabilitation. INDICATIONS: Achilles tendon injuries; Postoperative rehabilitation after Achilles tendon surgeries.
