The recirculator is widely used for air disinfection in medical, children's, and office premises, especially during increased viral disease thresholds. Its use reduces the risk of airborne droplet infection in places where groups of people gather. Disinfection is carried out by the interaction of air masses with ultraviolet radiation from the bactericidal lamp located inside the recirculator housing. Forced air movement through the recirculator is provided by an axial fan. It is mounted on the wall or placed on a stand, which is purchased separately. Radiation source – TUV lamp designed for UV disinfection – a low-pressure mercury discharge lamp emitting short-wave UV radiation with a maximum at 253.7 nm, possessing bactericidal action. The recirculator uses TUV-30 lamps that do not emit ozone. Premium version includes the use of Philips TUV-30 lamps and Philips control electronics.
