The OMEGA Midi R 1x15w bactericidal recirculator is widely used for air disinfection in medical, children's, and office premises, especially during increased viral disease outbreaks. Its use helps reduce the risk of airborne droplet infection in places where groups of people gather. Disinfection is carried out by the interaction of air masses with the ultraviolet radiation of the bactericidal lamp located inside the recirculator housing. Forced air movement through the recirculator is provided by an axial fan. It is mounted on the wall or placed on a stand, which is purchased separately. The radiation source is a TUV-15 lamp designed for UV disinfection – a low-pressure mercury discharge lamp that emits short-wave UV radiation with a maximum of 253.7 nm, which has a bactericidal effect. The OMEGA Midi R 1x15w recirculator uses TUV-15 lamps that do not emit ozone.
