Product description
Continuous Glucose Monitoring Sensor CGM Sinocare Heaco iCan i 3 A continuous blood sugar monitoring system that helps people with diabetes manage their condition daily without unnecessary finger pricks. Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems are indispensable for tracking overall trends and fluctuations in glucose levels; they are not intended for instant point-to-point accuracy comparison due to the natural delay of readings in interstitial fluid. Therefore, always cross-check CGM data with glucometer readings and consider this difference. Final decisions regarding treatment adjustments should be made exclusively with a physician. The gold standard for accuracy verification remains laboratory blood analysis. Advantages: 15 days of operation without premature shutdowns. Calibration function integrated into the official app iCan Review – a free doctor’s dashboard, real-time monitoring of unlimited patients, more than 5 types of reports, and software in Ukrainian! Official service center in Ukraine – user support, warranty service! High anti-interference capability Includes three apps: iCan Review (for doctors), iCan Health (for patients), iCan Rich (for caregivers) Apps are adapted for Ukrainian users and operate in Ukraine without VPN, featuring a Ukrainian interface. CGM Sinocare Heaco iCan i 3 system: Installation and monitoring process is painless Data scanning occurs automatically in the app, no additional scanning required. Data is automatically sent and stored in the cloud, so you can be confident all scanned data will be in the app even if your phone runs out of battery. Hypo- and hyperglycemia alerts with individual settings High accuracy (MARD error only 8.71%) Glucose measurement every 3 minutes Suitable for individuals aged 2 years and older Device can be attached not only to the arm but also to the abdomen Water resistance IP28 allows CGM use during showering, swimming, or sports activities. Video guide in the app provides step-by-step instructions during sensor installation. Additional confidence level: calibration function Sometimes sensor readings may differ from standard glucometer data due to individual physiology, skin condition, correct placement, etc. For such cases, the iCan Health app includes a calibration function. If you notice discrepancies in numbers, you can simply enter your glucometer value directly into the app – the system will adjust to your readings for maximum accuracy in subsequent measurements. How to calibrate? Prerequisites: Calibration is not recommended during the first two days of sensor wear. However, if there are objective reasons, Perform calibration only after 150 minutes from sensor installation. Calibrate when readings are stable (best in the morning on an empty stomach). Do not calibrate immediately after eating, insulin administration, or physical exertion. Steps in the iCan Health app: Measure blood sugar with a glucometer. Compare with sensor readings after 15-20 minutes. If there is a significant discrepancy, perform calibration. In the Journal section, tap + next to Blood Glucose from Finger Prick. Enter the value obtained from the glucometer, select Calibration by Finger Prick Blood type, and tap Confirm. Attention: Calibration is irreversible and applies only to the current sensor. Repeat calibration is possible no earlier than 30 minutes later. Do not calibrate the sensor frequently. Using inaccurate glucometer data will lead to false CGM readings! Use manual calibration if there is a significant discrepancy between CGM and BGM (glucometer) readings. More details are available on our Heaco website blog. CGM: Who is it for? People with diabetes: improved control and physical fitness. Fitness: better understanding of glucose levels for a healthy lifestyle. Diet (including prediabetes, metabolic syndrome): development of healthy habits for glucose regulation. Other users: forming healthy eating habits and weight control. To confirm the accuracy of continuous glucose monitoring sensor (CGM) readings, it is recommended to check and compare them with glucometer (BGM) data of the same brand. Important After unpacking and activating the sensor, its operating time will be 15 days (one usage cycle), after which it automatically shuts down, and you will receive a notification in the app. Reliability of readings: minimizing interference One of the key factors in CGM system reliability is its resistance to interference – the influence of common medications (such as Acetaminophen, Aspirin, or Vitamin C) on final glucose readings. iCan i3 is designed with minimal sensitivity to external metabolic substances. This means you can take most common medications without worrying about artificially elevated or lowered monitoring results. We guarantee that key drugs, including ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), do not affect reading accuracy, providing confidence in every measurement. Important warnings: Use iCan i3 CGM only after consulting a doctor if you are pregnant, undergoing dialysis, have an implanted pacemaker, or are in critical condition. It is currently unknown whether various symptoms or medications taken by these patient groups may affect system operation. Using iCan i3 CGM in these groups may lead to inaccurate results. Do not use iCan i3 CGM if you have blood clotting disorders or are taking anticoagulants. If you have dense hair at the sensor implantation site, to ensure reliable adhesion and minimize data transmission errors, the skin area at the application site must be cleared of hair. MRI/CT/electrothermal therapy is prohibited. Return conditions and warranty support Continuous glucose monitoring sensors are medical devices for individual use and are not subject to exchange or return. Once the packaging is opened or its seal is broken, the product loses its sterile status, so for safety and hygiene reasons, it cannot be returned. What to do in case of questions or malfunctions?
