The main key feature of the Invacare Action 3 NG HEMI is the installed one-hand drive, which can be positioned on either the right or left drive wheel. MID-ACTIVE WHEELCHAIR ACTION 3 NG HEMI The Action 3 NG HEMI wheelchair is designed for users who, for certain reasons, cannot operate the wheelchair with both hands but are able to do so with one hand. One of the drive wheels is equipped with a double rim, allowing each wheel to be turned separately or both simultaneously. The folding frame of the wheelchair is made of durable aluminum alloy. The weight of the Action 3 NG HEMI is only 14.2 kg (in the basic configuration), while the maximum user weight can be up to 125 kg. When changing the overall seat height and the position of the rear wheels, it is possible to adjust the tilt angle of the front wheel forks and set them perpendicular to the direction of movement (which is not available in similar models from other manufacturers). The backrest is equipped with a removable nylon cover. At the lower part of the backrest, there is a wide strap that allows adjusting the tension of the backrest, which plays an important role in user positioning. The rear wheel matrix allows adjusting the seat height in 5 positions and changing the position of the rear wheels relative to the center of gravity. These settings affect the "aggressiveness" or "stability" of the wheelchair. FOOTRESTS With a light press of one finger, the footrest folds back and detaches. This greatly simplifies the transfer process from the wheelchair. FOLDING BRAKE LEVER The wheelchair brakes have levers with a folding design.
