Product description
Acrylic resin for manufacturing composite elements with carbon reinforcements, providing excellent mechanical properties and thermoformability. Extremely liquid acrylic resin used together with carbon reinforcements to create composite elements such as prosthetic socket liners. Polymerization occurs at room temperature using the SIPACRYL hardener at a ratio of 2%-3% by resin weight. FEATURES: high mechanical properties of finished composite products; excellent skin compatibility; possibility of thermoforming after curing within the elasticity limits of the reinforcement fabrics; compatibility with natural reinforcing materials ORTHOFLAX® , ECO-BLACK, and HYBRIDES; used for creating rigid orthopedic devices such as prosthetic socket liners. Safety and handling instructions: COPACRYL resins contain methyl methacrylate, making them flammable. It is important to consider this during processing and storage, and to follow standard safety measures for such materials. Safety data sheets should be reviewed and instructions on packaging and technical documentation followed. Storage and packaging: COPACRYL resins and SIPACRYL hardener have a guaranteed shelf life of 18 months when stored at temperatures from 18°C to 25°C in sealed containers protected from light and moisture. Short-term storage at temperatures up to 35°C or down to 10°C (no more than 3 months) is possible.
