Slings for safe and comfortable patient transfer. Comfort Slings Invacare offers a wide range of slings for safe and comfortable patient transfer. All slings were developed in collaboration with doctors specializing in occupational diseases and physiotherapists, ensuring maximum comfort and support for the patient and ease of use for the caregiving staff. Slings are available in five sizes and various material options. The sling's adjustability allows it to be tailored to the individual needs of the patient. A green label on the back of each Invacare sling shows how to correctly position the sling considering the patient's back shape to ensure smooth and comfortable transfer. This sling is available in two modifications. The Comfort sling supports the body along its entire length, including the head. The Comfort Standard sling supports the entire body, including the shoulders, but excluding the head. This modification is intended for patients who have good control of head movements. Comfort sling models are a suitable option for people experiencing chronic pain. The slings are also applicable for people with an above-knee leg amputation, as well as for patients who, considering posture features or due to pain, prefer to remain in a sitting position.
