All slings were developed in collaboration with doctors specializing in occupational diseases and physiotherapists, ensuring maximum comfort and support for the patient and ease of use for the caregiving staff. Slings are available in five sizes and various material options. The sling's adjustability allows it to be adapted to the individual needs of the patient. A green label on the back of each Invacare sling shows how to correctly position the sling considering the patient's back shape to ensure smooth and comfortable transfer. Supports the body along its entire length, including the head; during transfer, the patient is in a comfortable and slightly reclined position. The long universal Universal High sling is typically used for people with limited control of head, trunk, or hip movements, as well as for transferring patients from lying to any other position. The Universal High sling is also used for transferring patients from sitting to sitting positions. This sling model can be used without a head support (simply remove the plastic stiffening elements).
