Slings are available in five sizes and various material options. The sling's adjustability allows it to be tailored to the individual needs of the patient. A green label on the back of each Invacare sling shows how to correctly position the sling considering the patient's back shape to ensure smooth and comfortable transfer. Supports the body along its entire length, including the head; during transfer, the patient is in a comfortable and slightly reclined position. The Universal High sling also allows patients to keep their arms outside the sling. This Universal High sling is typically used for people with limited control of head, torso, or hip movements, as well as for transferring patients from lying to any other position. The Universal High sling is also used for transferring patients from sitting to sitting positions. This model is covered on the back side with a firmer fabric, ensuring optimal weight distribution and comfort for the patient.
