For reliable fixation of the knee joint The knee joint tutor is used as a convenient alternative to a plaster cast after injuries and surgeries on the knee joint. The orthosis has no hinges to set the range of motion; it provides reliable immobilization of the knee joint. The tutor is made of a three-layer material: the inner material is cotton, which does not irritate the skin and does not cause allergic reactions; the inner layer is foam, which breathes well and absorbs excess moisture; outside is wear-resistant velour material. This combination of materials ensures comfort even with prolonged use. Special silicone inserts prevent the orthosis from slipping off the leg. For complete immobilization of the knee joint, the tutor has four metal splints: two lateral and two rear. The rear splints are slightly curved (to fix the knee in the correct physiological position). The three-component fitting adjustment system allows adapting the orthosis to any user features. The inner component has special straps that help fix the structure on the leg and ensure the correct position while other straps are not fastened. Strong straps at the top and bottom help securely fix the tutor.
