Rigid functional knee orthosis Orliman for osteoarthritis The lightweight and ergonomic knee orthosis allows correction of morphological changes of the lower limb in osteoarthritis. It features axial varus or valgus adjustment and an anatomical shape, does not cause discomfort during prolonged use and active activities, and enhances the effectiveness of peak load redistribution in the knee joint. Depending on the type of deformity, there are left and right models. It has a safe and easy fixation system that allows convenient and effective donning and removal of the orthosis. Rigid thigh and shin cuffs on one side are connected by a special hinge that allows adjustment of the flexion/extension angle using wedges and a screwdriver; the lock is preset at 0°, preventing hyperextension. The contour of the rigid parts is made of lower density plastic, increasing comfort. Inside the orthosis is a foam breathable material that is easily removable.
