2D Podoscan is an optoelectronic device that facilitates study and morphological analysis both in clinical and orthopedic fields, which is very important in the development of orthopedic insoles. 2D Podoscan Thanks to next-generation LED lighting, it allows proper assessment of foot shape and any epidermal issues, highlighting areas of greatest pressure. The structure on which the feet rest is made of transparent polycarbonate with excellent light-conducting ability, allowing significant variation in color intensity at points of highest and lowest plantar load. The device can support weight up to 150 kg. Freestep software allows easy archiving, measuring, and comparing images before and after treatment. Load points can be identified and marked directly on the foot image. Podoscan 2D facilitates study and analysis of posture and feet both clinically and orthopedically and is very useful in the development of orthopedic insoles.
