Product description
Expected Confort C300 NPTW – vacuum pump for wound therapy, whose operation consists in applying negative pressure to affected areas, as a result of which bacteria and excess tissue fluid, which causes swelling and impedes blood supply, are removed from the wound. It is intended for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and open wounds, burns, ulcers (diabetic and pressure ulcers). Indications: orthopedic trauma, soft tissue injury, skin grafting, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot, burns, open abdominal wounds, treatment of surgical infections and other surgical wounds. C300 has 3 therapy modes: 1. Continuous therapy mode The continuous mode is the most common treatment mode. It treats the wound by continuously operating at an adjusted pressure level. The continuous therapy device is compatible with standard sets for wound closure, silver sets, incision sets, and abdominal cavity sets. 2. Intermittent therapy mode The intermittent therapy mode treats using two different adjusted negative pressure values at intervals. The device allows vacuum application throughout the therapy and repeats the temporary transition cycle according to the set time. 3. Instillation therapy mode The instillation therapy mode works by delivering the required solution into the wound at specified intervals and waiting on the wound surface for the specified time during wound treatment under negative pressure, then negative pressure and vacuuming start again, and this cycle ensures wound healing throughout the treatment time. During instillation therapy, when the solution reaches the wound, the vacuum is stopped and left in the wound for some time. The solution is directed into the wound through the device using a sterile cartridge and withdrawn back by the same system. The system can be used both in newborns (from 12 days after birth) and adults, but before starting therapy, it is necessary to assess the patient's weight, wound type, and overall health condition by a medical specialist.
