Product description
Confort C300 TS – vacuum pump for wound therapy (NPWT) Its operation is based on applying negative pressure to affected areas, resulting in the removal of bacteria and excess tissue fluid from the wound, which causes swelling and impedes blood supply. It is intended for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute, and open wounds, burns, ulcers (diabetic and pressure ulcers). Indications: orthopedic trauma, soft tissue injury, skin grafting, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot, burns, open abdominal wounds, treatment of surgical infections and other surgical wounds. C300 4 therapy modes: 1. Continuous therapy mode The continuous mode is the most common treatment mode. It affects the wound by continuously operating at an adjusted pressure level. The continuous therapy device is compatible with standard wound closure kits, silver kits, incision kits, and abdominal kits. 2. Intermittent therapy mode The intermittent therapy mode treats using two different preset negative pressure values at set time intervals. The device allows vacuum application throughout the therapy and repeats the temporary transition cycle according to the set time. The intermittent therapy mode of the C300 TS NPWT unit is compatible with standard wound closure kits, silver kits, incision kits, and open abdominal kits. 3. Instillation therapy mode The instillation therapy mode works by delivering the required solution into the wound at specified intervals. The solution remains on the wound surface for the specified time during negative pressure treatment, after which the vacuum is reactivated to remove the fluid; this cycle promotes wound healing throughout the treatment course. During instillation therapy, when the solution reaches the wound, the vacuum is turned off, and the fluid remains in the wound for some time. The solution is delivered to the wound externally via a sterile cartridge method and withdrawn by the same system. The C300 TS NPWT unit is compatible with instillation wound closure kits and a connecting cartridge. 4. Intermittent therapy mode with drug infusion. This intermittent instillation therapy mode is the first in the world to combine intermittent and instillation therapy modes. It is an effective treatment method achieved by applying two different vacuum values to the wound dressing along with wound irrigation (instillation). Compatible with instillation wound closure kits and a connecting cartridge. The purpose of this combined mode: Enhanced wound cleansing: thanks to solution infusion. Effective infection control: through targeted delivery of antiseptics/antibiotics. Regeneration stimulation: cyclic vacuum impact improves microcirculation and cell proliferation. Treatment optimization: allows achieving better results, especially in complex, chronic, or infected wounds, by combining multiple mechanisms of action. The system can be used in newborns (from 12 days old) as well as adults, but before starting therapy, weight, wound type, and overall patient health must be assessed by a medical professional.
