Designed for rigid transverse connection of two longitudinal stabilizing rods of the spinal construct. Using the transverse connector allows forming a closed frame system, which significantly increases rotational stiffness and makes the entire transpedicular construct more resistant to torsional (twisting) and lateral loads.
