Product description
The straight transverse connector belongs to the connecting elements of the spinal systems of the Rod 5.5 line. It is designed for direct transverse fastening of two longitudinal rods together, which significantly increases the torsional (twisting) stiffness of the entire fixation construct. The element has an adjustable design: the closed (base) size is 40 mm, and in the open (expanded) state reaches 50 mm, providing flexibility for fitting to the individual anatomical distance between the rods. For convenient and quick size identification directly in the operating room, the connectors of the series are produced in several color options (pink, blue, yellow, green, gray). Features and advantages: Increased torsional stiffness: forms a rigid frame structure that effectively resists rotational loads on the spine.
