Product description
Kinterra RM3 is an innovative foot and hydraulic ankle system designed to provide stable, comfortable, and controlled walking in everyday life on various types of surfaces. Proteor Kinterra RM3 is an advanced system combining a hydraulic ankle unit with a high-dynamic EnduraCore carbon foot module. Kinterra RM3 is designed to offer users maximum natural movement, exceptional stability on any terrain, and enhanced comfort both during active walking and while resting in a seated position. Thanks to the hydraulic mechanism, the foot instantly achieves and maintains full contact with the surface. This significantly reduces the load on the socket liner, improves gait biomechanics, and ensures confidence when descending slopes or stairs. Features of the Proteor Kinterra RM3 foot Hydraulic ankle with a 17° range of motion The hydraulic unit provides a total range of motion of 17° (plantar flexion up to 15° and dorsiflexion up to 2°). This allows the foot to quickly achieve a flat foot position (footflat), enhancing stability and significantly reducing pressure inside the socket liner. Dorsiflexion return spring An integrated return spring during the swing phase automatically lifts the toe of the foot upward. This increases toe clearance above the ground, significantly reducing the risk of tripping over floors or uneven surfaces. Automatic heel height adaptation Thanks to the mobility of the hydraulic unit, the foot automatically adjusts to footwear with different heel heights without the need for manual adjustment or additional tools. Maximum comfort while sitting In the seated position, the foot naturally lowers to the floor due to 15° plantar flexion. This relieves tension and pressure from the distal end of the socket, making prolonged sitting much more comfortable. EnduraCore module and moisture protection The composite carbon-glass fiber EnduraCore technology ensures excellent energy return and durability under loads up to 150 kg. The device has a high level of moisture resistance and can withstand short-term immersion in water (up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter). Clinical benefits of the Proteor Kinterra RM3 foot Improved symmetry and step width Increased toe clearance during the swing phase Enhanced comfort while sitting Better stability and control on uneven terrain Increased safety when descending slopes Improved knee joint stability Proteor Kinterra RM3 foot package contents Hydraulic ankle with dorsiflexion return spring EnduraCore carbon foot module "Pyramid" type connection Black Spectra protective toe cover (worn over the module to protect the shell and reduce noise) Set of elastomer bumpers to increase stiffness Aesthetic foot shell with anatomically separated big toe Who is the Proteor Kinterra RM3 foot suitable for Active users (mobility level K3) seeking natural and fatigue-free movement; Patients who frequently walk on sloped surfaces, ramps, stairs, and uneven terrain; People who require enhanced knee joint stability when heel striking; Users experiencing discomfort or increased pressure in the socket liner during walking and sitting; Patients weighing up to 150 kg looking for a reliable hydraulic system with natural biomechanics. Natural biomechanics. Smooth rollover. Unwavering stability. Proteor Kinterra RM3 elevates walking comfort and safety to a new level, allowing you to enjoy every step.
