Product description
Proteor ETHOS LP Prosthetic Foot – dynamic low-profile foot with multi-axial adaptation and FusionFlex technology Proteor ETHOS LP is a modern high-tech low-profile prosthetic foot designed for people who value the naturalness of every movement, all-day comfort, and confidence on any type of surface. Combining exceptionally low weight, ultra-compact mounting height (only 58 mm), and a high level of energy return, the ETHOS LP provides an extremely smooth, reliable, and symmetrical gait. Thanks to the innovative three-layer composite FusionFlex technology and multi-axial rotational plate, the foot perfectly adapts to terrain relief, reducing excess load on the socket and joints during walking. Key advantages of the Proteor ETHOS LP foot FusionFlex composite technology (three-layer structure) The unique sandwich construction combines the benefits of two materials: the inner fiberglass core ensures high durability and flexibility, while the outer layers of carbon fiber provide instant dynamic response and powerful energy return during push-off. Ultra-low mounting height (only 58 mm) The low profile of the foot gives the prosthetist maximum space to install additional functional adapters or full microprocessor and hydraulic knee units, making it an ideal solution for patients with long residual limbs or knee disarticulation. Multi-axial adaptation and axial rotation (±8° and 16.5°) The special multi-axial rotational plate provides up to 8° axial rotation and excellent adaptation to lateral tilts (16.5° inversion/eversion). This allows the foot to easily navigate small irregularities, simplifies torso turns, and ensures stability on slopes and stairs. Reliable surface contact and shock absorption The flat bottom of the foot combined with a split keel ensures constant and stable ground contact, while a special heel shock absorber softly cushions impact loads at heel strike. Full waterproofing (fresh, sea, and chlorinated water) The foot design is intended for active use in any environment: it is completely resistant to fresh, salty sea, and chlorinated pool water. Proteor ETHOS LP foot package FusionFlex composite foot module Multi-axial rotational plate Pyramid adapter Spectra protective toe cover (worn on the module before shell installation for protection and noise minimization) Availability of versions with EVAQ8 active vacuum system Who is the Proteor ETHOS LP foot suitable for active users (mobility level K3) with high and medium-high walking speeds; people with long thigh or shank residual limbs where minimal mounting height is critical; patients who move frequently both in urban environments and on uneven terrain, slopes, and stairs; veterans and military personnel seeking a durable and dynamic foot to return to active life; users who value a combination of high energy return, soft shock absorption, and excellent terrain adaptation. Low profile. Light weight. High adaptability. Proteor ETHOS LP provides natural ease of movement and absolute confidence in every step, regardless of surface type. About the brand Proteor is a French company with over a century of experience in prosthetics, developing innovative and clinically proven solutions for active and independent prosthesis users worldwide.
