Product description
Acrylic resin for lamination, providing the creation of high-quality composite parts such as prosthesis receiving sockets. Extremely fluid acrylic resin COPACRYL Jersey is designed for creating composite elements such as prosthesis receiving sockets, combined with various reinforcing materials (Perlon® or 100% fiberglass). Resin polymerization occurs at room temperature using the SIPACRYL hardener, which does not contain harmful CMR substances. Mixing ratio is from 2% to 3% hardener by resin weight. FEATURES: high mechanical properties of finished products; excellent skin compatibility; possibility of thermoforming after curing (within the elasticity limits of the used fabrics); compatibility with natural reinforcing materials ORTHOFLAX®, ECO-BLACK, and HYBRIDES. Safety and handling rules: COPACRYL resins contain methyl methacrylate, making them flammable. It is important to consider this during handling and storage, and to follow standard safety measures for such materials. It is necessary to familiarize yourself with safety data sheets and follow instructions on packaging and technical documentation. Storage and packaging: COPACRYL resins and SIPACRYL hardener have a shelf life of 18 months when stored at temperatures from 18°C to 25°C in sealed containers protected from light and moisture. Short-term storage at temperatures up to 35°C or down to 10°C (no more than 3 months) is possible.
