Product description
Heaco glucose test strips are intended for exclusive use with Safe AQ Smart glucometers. They are used to determine glucose levels in whole blood, which can be taken from a finger (capillary blood) or from a vein (venous blood). Coding procedure for these strips is not required. Description of the working principle: The glucose test operates based on the enzyme FAD-GDH. An electric current arises as a result of a chemical reaction between glucose and reagents on the electrode surface of the strip. For the test, a drop of blood or control solution is applied to the tip of the strip by capillary action. Glucose reacts with the chemical elements of the strip, generating electrons that create a current. The glucometer detects this current and converts it into a glucose level result. Storage conditions and shelf life: Store at temperatures from 1°C to 30°C. For convenience, it is advisable to record the date of first opening on the label. Instructions for use: Thoroughly wash and dry the site where you will make the puncture. Take one test strip from the vial and immediately close it. Insert the strip into the appropriate port of the glucometer , the device will automatically turn on. Obtain a drop of blood for testing. Touch the test strip to the drop of blood and allow it to absorb into the strip. After this, the result will be displayed on the screen. After completing the test, press the eject button to discard the used strip into the appropriate waste container.
