Dressing set for VAC wound therapy with instillation Sets for vacuum wound closure using instillation therapy consist of spiral medical foam, a vacuum suction pad, and an adhesive dressing. They are used during therapy in instillation mode. The spiral foam, specially designed for instillation therapy, ensures even distribution of the instillation fluid over the wound due to its shape. The vacuum suction pad has two channels – for instillation and vacuum creation. Large size 240x150x18 mm. Used with cartridge. Medium size 140x100x18 mm. Used with cartridge. Small size 100x80x18 mm. Used with cartridge. Package contents: • hydrophobic medical sponge – 2 pcs • protective organ film – 2 pcs • vacuum pad with tube The dressing set is compatible with Confort brand wound therapy devices models C300, C300TS, and C500. The principle of VAC devices is the application of negative pressure to affected areas. As a result, bacteria and excess tissue fluid, which causes swelling and impedes blood supply, are removed from the wound.
